My toddler loves bath time. Bubbles and water play are already great sensory play activities. With the addition of bath toys, it’s become even more fun for him.
Bath time at our house does double duty. It gets our toddler clean and it’s a great bonding experience. Plus kids just look cuter when they’re in the bath.
Some things to look when buying bath toys for your toddler:
- It should be made of a durable material
- It should not trap water, or easily get mold
- Easy to clean
- Large enough to not go down you drain or does not break off into small pieces
- Does not stain or damage your bathtub
- Colorful enough to spot under the water and bubbles
- It can be a hard material if the toy floats. If it sinks, be sure it’s a soft material so it doesn’t hurt your toddler if they happen to sit or step on them.
- Bonus points if it’s educational
