Many businesses offer a deal on Veterans Day to thank members of the military, past and present, for their extraordinary service to our country. With a rambunctious toddler on hand, we like to go to family friendly places in order to 1) keep our little guy entertained 2) not disturb other diners’ experience. When Chuck E. Cheese’s informed me that they are offering a Veterans Day deal, I thought this was the perfect Veterans Day Lunch (or dinner option) for our military family.

To thank service members past and present, on Veteran’s Day on Nov. 11, Chuck E. Cheese’s will be offering one free personal pizza to all active and retired military members at participating stores nationwide. The discounted offers are valid for active duty military, individual ready reserves, former members in receipt of retired pay and their families. A Uniformed Services ID card or Common Access Card is required at the point of purchase with a limit of one discount per military service member. The Veteran’s Day offer is good on Nov. 11, 2016 only.

At our last Chuck E. Cheese’s outing, we wanted to test out their new pizza. Believe me, it did not disappoint the grownups or kids. I liked that they cut it up in kid-friendly slices. Plus it was nice and cheesy and just the perfect thickness. After we ate, it was time to be a kid again.

Compared to other similar establishments, I like that Chuck E. Cheese’s is kid-friendly and affordable. They had a toddler friendly section with games that my little guy could play on his own with no help from me. This made him feel like a “big boy”. There’s also a section of games and activities for older kids and adults, so we can go back to Chuck E. Cheese’s as he gets older. This definitely received my mom stamp of approval.
