When you PCS to a new duty station, one of the first things military spouses often do is find the local Facebook group. They are the ones with the “inside track” on neighborhoods, schools, housing, etc.
I love some of the military spouse groups that I am in on Facebook. Some have been so helpful. Others have been good for finding great deals from other Military-affiliated people in the area.
Then there are occasions when a simple discussion veers way off topic and then crazy drama ensues. “She said this”. “Admin rules are that”. Here’s an example of how a military spouse facebook discussion can end.
