The smell of fresh cut grass, the sound of a wooden bat making contact with the baseball, the anticipation of a stadium full of people gearing up for one of America’s favorite pastimes. Baseball season is back and some teams are showing their appreciation for past and present service members with military discounts.
Discounts on games and gear vary widely from team to team. As I find more, I will add them here. As always, the best resource for discount confirmation would be the team website or your local military ticket office. The local USO or Armed Services YMCA may offer discounts or free tickets as well.
Here are the some great military discounts for Major League Baseball games for the 2015 season.
