Cute Open When Love Note Envelope Idea

Love notes are great to send to your partner. If you’re in a long distance relationship or perhaps just seperated for a while, sending “Open When” notes can be a great reminder of the love you have for that person.

The idea behind “Open When” letters is that the loved one you’re sending them to, open the envelope according to the actions you specify. So for example, “Open when you’re happy” , or “Open when it’s Valentine’s Day”.

I created these printables to include in my husband’s care package. He’s in the military, so we can be separated from time to time. The best part about these cute love note ideas is that you can use them year round. They’re super cute, and super easy to make. I sell the printables in my etsy shop.

Simply print out the template.

Cut out the heart.

You now have a choice to

Write something on the back of the heart for your loved one to open the envelope completely. OR Leave it blank and put something else in the completed envelope

Bundle all your envelopes and send them off

(They’re not big enough to be mailed off on their own individually, but they’re small enough to not cost you too much in shipping. I usually just throw them all my in the care package. If it fits, it ships!)
