Diaper bags have come a long away. Before, they were somewhat tacky-looking and perhaps very bulky. Now there are practical yet stylish options that have functions that work for baby and parents. For our family, we have a diaper backpack that is unisex for mom and dad.
There are diapers bags that don’t look like diaper bags. These types of bags resemble a tote or purse. For those that want to be more handsfree, a diaper backpack may be the way to go. While diaper backpacks aren’t as easy to access as a regular diaper bag, they do have some characteristics that we love.

When searching for a diaper backpack, you want to look for the following items:
- Durable material
- Easy access to wipes, diapers, pockets
- Secure zippers or buckles so items don’t follow out
- A variety of pockets and section to store different things
- Adjustable and comfortable shoulder straps
Diaper backpacks are also pretty stylish today. There are some unisex styles that don’t scream “baby!”.
