If you’re stuck for a baby name, try looking at some military-inspired names. Surprisingly there are a ton of names to reflect and honor the military.
When Husband and I were looking for baby names, he went old school and bought a baby name book. There was only like 10 military-inspired names in there, and I thought “there has to be waaaaay more”.
So I went looking and compiled this big list of military-inspired baby names. I have to warn you, some are normal, some are well… weird.
Whether they are named after a letter of the military phonetic alphabet, a duty station, or a weapon, military baby names cover a wide range.
Would you name your kid any of these?

I am surprised Valor is not on here. My husband is named Valor, seems like a very military type name.
that’s a good one!
I really like some of these, others…I couldn’t imagine a child with that name. To each their own. 🙂 Our daughter’s name is Shiloh…as in the Battle of Shiloh. Hubby is Army and a huge Civil War buff.
I know, some are a little funny…
